More than 20 years ago, people from Quanzhou, China, started to start business in Bangladesh.

Since its development in 1997, the Lede group, which he founded, already owns weaving, dyeing and finishing in Bangladesh.

And many other enterprises.

Zhuang Lifeng is striving to "dream" Bangladesh, and to build a century old enterprise is his dream.

Today, his company has 13 thousand Bangladeshi employees, and the modern garment factory area is also about to be completed.

Walking in Zhuang Lifeng's new factory area, there is a strong contrast between the modern rural factories and the common rural scenes of Bangladesh such as the narrow and crowded streets outside the factory area.

Zhuang Lifeng said, "in 1997, I rented a place in Dhaka to run the first plant and encountered many difficulties.

In 2006, I bought land built factories myself, but I still had a distance from the advanced factories.

In 2012, I began to think about how to build first-class factories.

In January 2014, the tenth parliamentary election in Bangladesh ended. The turbulent political situation in the past year has stabilized.

In this year, Zhuang Lifeng also started the construction of his new factory area.

After two and a half years, his modern and digitalized factory area is becoming a reality.

The buildings in the new plant include production, storage, administrative offices, staff dormitories and schools.

In the five storehouse warehouse, the advanced warehouse management system is imported from abroad. The original hundreds of warehousing operations have been compressed to less than 100 people.

Although the cost of manpower in Bangladesh is relatively low, Zhuang Lifeng believes that if we intend to build a century old enterprise, it is very appropriate to adopt such advanced equipment.

The storehouse building has a large area on the first floor, but there are few people in it. Only a few people are seen debugging the computer equipment on the spot. The workers are using the forklift to deliver the raw material to the conveyor belt, and then send it to the designated place by the conveyor belt.

Zhuang Lifeng said that the warehouse is digitally managed, each piece has its own code, and even a button can be found anywhere conveniently.

The warehouse is equipped with advanced air induction fire protection system. There is a sprinkler in every three square meters. When there is a problem, it will be resolved within three square meters. It will not affect other areas.

Zhuang Lifeng explained that such a big investment is aimed at reducing waste and improving efficiency.

Zhuang Lifeng has tried many ways to make good use of the local abundant labor resources. In the newly built factory area, the administrative office building has a dedicated training for staff.

At the same time, in order to save time for local staff, the two 10 storey modern residential buildings will be provided for hundreds of employees and their relatives. The rent is only 60% of the surrounding price.

Zhuang Lifeng said that such investment is to let local employees regard their business as their own business and achieve long-term stable development.

He also plans to build a school near the factory to provide education for the children of local employees.

After a long term of international famous brand OEM, Zhuang Lifeng's enterprises began to explore their own brands.

The group's "Panda" shoes are targeted at the products of Bangladesh market, while other private apparel brands are planning to enter the Chinese market in the second half of 2016.

As a Chinese entrepreneur who manages tens of thousands of Bangladeshi employees, Zhuang Lifeng describes his relationship with local staff as a win-win relationship.

He said he should not always think of himself as an entrepreneur and provide job opportunities to locals. "We should also rely on them to make money and develop".

Rich or poor, we must treat each other equally.

Let employees and enterprises develop together and share the fruits of development.

In recent years, various kinds of Chinese funded enterprises have been increasing rapidly in Bangladesh.

When asked about the suggestions for the successors to invest in Bangladesh, Zhuang Lifeng said that when domestic enterprises decided to come to Bangladesh, they should have a long-term plan, not to carry out the market with the idea of speculation and making quick money. We should promote localization management and pay attention to the cultivation of local talents, because the use of local talents will bring great benefits to the development of enterprises.

Finally, he suggested that enterprises should abide by local laws and regulations and respect local customs and religious etiquette.
