More Terrible Than "Toxic Clothing" Is Lack Of Supervision.

At present, it is in the hottest season of the year, and the temperature is high and the sun is shining fiercely.

After investigation, many cheap clothes contain a certain amount of formaldehyde.

Experts say inhaling high levels of formaldehyde can seriously irritate the respiratory tract or cause eye pain and headaches.

Inhalation of a small amount of formaldehyde can also cause chronic poisoning, and long-term exposure to formaldehyde can even cause cancer such as nasal cancer and lung cancer.

If it is not the media exposure, most consumers may be kept in the dark. They think that buying cheap clothes is a blessing. We should know that most of the cheap clothing is "toxic" and that it is a grievance to buy money.

Since cheap clothing is so, will it be reassuring for famous brand clothes?

According to the results of the comparative test of infant knitted underwear released recently by the China Association for consumer protection, 24 of the 39 samples had different quality problems. Over 60%, the famous brand Shanghai baby Disney and Adidas baby clothing were repeatedly "black list".

These so-called famous brands are not only expensive, often several times cheaper than the price of cheap clothing, but also become the preferred clothing for many consumers because of its brand name effect.

However, the quality problems of famous brands and even foreign brands are also worrying. For example, the quality problems of infant clothing often cause skin diseases of infants and young children, which may seriously affect the growth and development of infants and young children, and bring about immeasurable consequences to their lives.

Therefore, clothing quality is a trivial matter. In fact, it is related to physical health.

So the quality of adult clothing is even more shocking.

As early as September 2011, the international environmental protection and Greenpeace Organization released the survey results of toxic and harmful substances in global brand clothing. Among them, 14 famous brands of clothing such as Adidas, Lining and Nike were detected to contain NPE (nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether) which could affect sexual development.

According to media tracking reports, even in this context, shopping malls in major cities still sell these brand clothing, and the price is still high. Most consumers do not know, and sellers do not affect sales at all.

Obviously, it is "toxic clothing", but still goes its own way, not only does the sale not be subject to any restrictions, nor can the public see any warning or reminder from the relevant departments. It can only continue to endure "intimate contact" with "toxic" clothing.

Behind these "poisonous" clothes, the public can get information from the media, and such exposure is limited. In the face of a large number of "toxic clothing" circulating in the market, the exposure has little effect.

It can be seen that the quality and safety of clothing is not directly related to whether or not a well-known brand is concerned. The "poisonous" of cheap clothing is also worthy of being alerted to the "black list" of the famous brand.

In fact, there is not much technical content to detect whether clothes contain poison. The key lies in whether the regulatory authorities "fight soy sauce".

From this point of view, "toxic clothing" is not terrible. It is feared that the regulatory authorities know clearly, but can not profoundly reflect on it, and take the actual action to "eliminate the poison". If a strict inspection standard and punishment and accountability mechanism are formulated, "toxic clothing" will inevitably lose its market, and how can it show the trend of flooding?
