Shenzhen Export Tax Rebate

Yesterday, reporters from

Shenzhen

City tax bureau was informed that as at the end of October 2011, Shenzhen handled

Export tax rebate

For the first time, it exceeded the 50 billion yuan mark, exceeding the annual tax rebate records, creating a new annual tax rebate.

It is understood that in 2011, the Shenzhen State Administration of Taxation continued to enrich the tax service measures, improve the quality of service, uphold a good service attitude, strictly examine the time limit for tax rebate, and improve the tax service system.

As of October 31, 2011, the total export tax rebates in the city (excluding exemption and pfer) had reached 53 billion 645 million yuan, an increase of 40.70% over the same period last year.

Among them, the tax rebate for manufacturing enterprises was 34 billion 450 million yuan, up 51.72% over the same period last year, and the foreign trade enterprises' tax rebates were 19 billion 195 million yuan, up 24.48% over the same period last year.

The head of the tax bureau directly under the State Administration of Taxation said that the main reason for the increase in tax rebate was the increase in the scale of foreign trade exports.

According to statistics, in the first 3 quarters of 2011, Shenzhen accumulated foreign trade and import and export volume of US $305 billion 110 million, an increase of 27.3% over the same period last year, of which 180 billion 310 million US dollars were exported, an increase of 29.1% over the same period last year, and imports of US $124 billion 800 million, an increase of 24.8% over the same period last year.

The total export volume of Shenzhen continued to lead in large and medium-sized cities throughout the country, and the growth rate was 6.4 and 6.9 percentage points higher than that of the whole country and Guangdong province respectively.

Affected by the depression of foreign markets, the growth rate of Shenzhen's foreign trade has declined since entering the fourth quarter. However, as the tax rebate declaration generally lags behind the export declaration for one to three months, the growth rate of tax rebate in Shenzhen is expected to slow down at the end of this year or early next year.
