Bole: Insurance Plus Futures Subsidies To Seed Cotton Compensation 2.15 Yuan / Kg
Some time ago, cotton farmers in Bole City of Xinjiang received the subsidy of 2.15 yuan / kg of cotton price insurance + futures in 2019, and the cotton farmers friend of Changji also got 2.15 yuan / kg in April 22nd.
It is understood that in 2019, Xinjiang cotton "price insurance + futures" in Changji pilot, China Pacific Insurance Company Ltd underwriting, involving 7 towns, 1 streets, 13 agricultural production and operation units of 903 basic farmers.
The cotton planting area covered by this insurance is 349 thousand and 600 mu, 130 million kg of cotton seed sold and 49257 tons of lint cotton. In 2019 cotton average delivery price of 12880.7 yuan / ton, this time per ton of lint pay 5719 yuan, equivalent to 2.15 yuan per kilogram of seed cotton compensation.
The total compensation for the pilot project was 281 million 700 thousand yuan, and cotton growers earned 307 thousand and 500 yuan.
