College Entrance Examination Meets Tmall 618, Students' Parents Scramble For Cheongsam To Help Test

According to a person in charge of a cheongsam brand in Shanghai, the number of shop orders has soared, reaching two to three times daily and more than 500 daily sales.

At 10 in the evening, workers in the Qipao shop began to hurry up to make cheongsam and often work late into the night.
These workers are responsible for the basic process of cheongsam production, such as material tailoring, buttons, sewing and quality inspection.
To make custom cheongsam "slow work and meticulous work", a teacher with many years of experience can make up 3 cheongsam a day.
In order to cope with the surge in orders, Qipao shops can only pay more for masters, and increase overtime.
The price of cheongsam masters is also rising.
Because the sale of cheongsam is really hot recently. At 10 o'clock in the evening, some casual workers in Qipao shop are stepping up to make up the buttons on the cheongsam. Chinese buttons are simple and beautiful, and must be hand-made.
Starting from June, the cheongsam brand sends about more than 400 express parcels every day, which requires more than one employee to get goods, packaging, posting order pages and mailing them from the warehouse all day.
In the evening, the workers pfer the packaged cheongsam parcel from the store to the express point.
Backstage data show that most of the consumers who buy cheongsam recently are mothers who are over 40 years old.
Among them, Cantonese bought the most, followed by Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
The head of the cheongsam shop bluntly said that after the college entrance examination, it was the middle school entrance examination. Now all the staff are straining a string.
In order to catch up with the biggest growth opportunity of Tmall 618 in the first half of the year, recently, the cheongsam cheongsam, which had been in Taobao for 3 years, opened up shop in Tmall and set a small target of 10 million sales.
