The Qualified Rate Of 50 Batches Of Radiation Protective Clothing For Pregnant Women Selected By Jiangsu Market Supervision Bureau Was 92%
On May 16, 2019, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Administration released the spot check analysis report on the quality supervision of radiation protective clothing for pregnant women on its website. In the first quarter of 2019, Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau entrusted Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Jiangsu Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Special Safety Protection Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to supervise and spot check the quality of radiation protective clothing for pregnant women. A total of 50 batches of products were sampled and 46 batches were qualified, with a qualification rate of 92%.
The results of this spot check show that the unqualified items are color fastness and pH value. The color fastness to water (outer part), acid sweat stain (outer part) and alkali sweat stain (outer part) of one batch of "Happy Shuangcheng" one size elastic wide shoulder double insurance maternity dress samples produced by Beijing Shuihua Qingyang Technology Co., Ltd. are unqualified; The nominal pH value and color fastness to dry rubbing of one batch of "Yianbei" XL radiation protective maternity clothing (radiation protective clothing) samples produced by Yancheng Dafeng Yixin Clothing Co., Ltd. are unqualified; One batch of "October Mommy octami" 165/94CL electromagnetic wave proof blouse samples produced by Shanghai October Mommy Network Co., Ltd. were found to be unqualified in terms of alkali sweat fastness; One batch of L-type Qumei radiation proof clothing (radiation proof clothing) samples produced by Wuxi Qumei Textile Science and Technology Co., Ltd. were found to be unqualified in terms of color fastness to water, acid perspiration and alkali perspiration.
The color fastness index reflects the color durability of textiles, including water resistance, acid sweat resistance, alkali sweat resistance and dry friction resistance. Products with poor color fastness are not only easy to fade during use, affecting normal wearing, but also easy to cause human health problems.
If the pH value is too high or too low, the pH balance of human skin will be destroyed, causing skin allergy or infection.
Consumption suggestions
（1） Shop.
Pay attention to the following points when purchasing:
1. Identification. The identification shall include the factory name and address, product name, specification and model, fiber composition and content, maintenance method, implemented product standard, safety category and other information. Consumers should check whether the product logo information is complete.
2. Appearance and smell. Good quality clothing products are well made, with neat stitches and flat stitching. There is no thread end, raw edge, and abnormal pungent smell, especially "earthy smell".
3. Product category. The washing resistance of metal fiber fabrics is better than that of metal coated fiber fabrics. If you choose to purchase silver ion plated maternity radiation protective clothing, it is recommended to choose the product with a recent production date to avoid that the product's long-term oxidation will weaken the shielding energy efficiency.

1. Cleaning and storage. Clean and store according to the requirements of the washing label on the clothing.
2. Protect from light. When using and storing silver ion plated maternity radiation protective clothing, attention should be paid to avoiding light, which can slow down oxidation and extend the use time.
