Ethiopia is the second largest populous country in Africa, and its unemployment rate is close to 50%. At the same time, a large number of high quality leather products are produced, and the labor intensive enterprises such as Huajian urgently need to be settled.
Since its commissioning in 2012, Huajian has more than 4000 employees in Ethiopia, of which more than 3800 local employees have been employed.

The staff can skillfully carry out leather cutting, bonding, sewing and other shoemaking processes, and can produce 6500 pairs of shoes every day.
At present, Huajian group owns six modern production lines and shoe material fields in Ethiopia, with 2 million pairs of shoes exported annually, with a profit margin of 10%.
Speaking of the African brothers who fought side by side on the production line, watching the growing ranks of enterprises, Song Yiping's speech also revealed a glimmer of pride. "We are leading the African brothers to teach them technology, solve their food and clothing, enable them to circulate well, promote the export of their leather products, train their employees, solve their labor force, and make his market prosperous."

Owing to the different working concepts between Africans and Chinese, Huajian paid tuition fees in the initial stage of Ethiopia.
At that time, shoemaking was a new field for the Ethiopians. Although the cost of the labor was relatively low, the efficiency of the staff was greatly reduced compared with that of the domestic workers in China.
To cope with this problem, Huajian has done enough work in personnel training.
For the training of new employees, they have set up specialized training classrooms, and hand in hand teaching of handcrafts and equipment by experienced Chinese teachers in many ways. For those excellent local employees, the factory is also providing them with training opportunities to go to China Huajian Dongguan general department and Huajian Ganzhou technical school to learn equipment operation, business management and Chinese.

In order to further expand the enterprises, Huajian has started the construction of China International Light Industrial Park in Dongguan, China in April 2015.

At that time, enterprises involved in shoemaking and clothing upstream and downstream supporting industries will enter the park, thus improving the industrial chain of the Ethiopian leather industry. The number of workers is expected to reach fifty thousand.
After the completion of the project, part of the labor-intensive industries in Dongguan will be pferred to the park. More than 60% of the products of Ethiopia shoes and garments will be from Huajian light industrial park.
