The top five export markets are: the United States (347 million US dollars, down 16.04%), India (191 million US dollars, down 13.51%), Italy (178 million US dollars, down 18.93% last year), Pakistan (140 million US dollars, down 14.87% last year) and Japan (136 million dollars, down by 24.27% last year).

The top five provinces and cities are Zhejiang (774 million US dollars, down 16.41%), Guangdong (398 million US dollars, up 62.64% over the same period) and Jiangsu (250 million US dollars, down 16.48% last year).

Shanghai

(160 million US dollars, down 16.12% compared with the same period last year), and Sichuan (109 million US dollars, down 25.96% last year), accounting for 82.11% of total exports of China's silk fabrics.

In September, India exported 118 thousand tons of yarn, and its export volume decreased by 8%. The total value was $333 million, that is, the average export price was $2.82 / kg, creating a new low in several months, a decrease of 4 cents, down 42 cents from the same period last year.

Bangladesh is the second largest importer, accounting for 16%, an increase of 20% over the same period. Egypt is the third largest importer, but it fell year on year.

In September, the export volume of cotton yarn was 99 thousand tons, with a total value of 278 million dollars, with an average price of 2.82 US dollars / kg, a decrease of 4 cents, a decrease of 46 cents compared with the same period last year.

Iran, Argentina, Israel, Canada and South Africa were the fastest growing countries to import cotton yarn in India, and their imports doubled in September, accounting for 2.3%.

This month, India's cotton yarn exports also increased to new markets, and exported to Bahrain, Paraguay, Salvatore, Kenya and Eritrea.
