Li Keqiang Signed 35 Cooperation Documents With President Of Brazil

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang held talks with Brazil President Rousseff at the presidential palace in Brasilia.

Prior to the talks, Rousseff held a grand welcoming ceremony for Li Keqiang at the front square of the presidential palace.

Li Keqiang reviewed the honor guard of the Ba army.

The military band played the National Anthem of China and Brazil.

Li Keqiang conveyed president Xi Jinping's cordial greetings to President Rousseff.

Li Keqiang said that China Pakistan relations have been developing in an all-round way in recent years, and the strategic and overall situation has been improving.

China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with Pakistan, deepen political mutual trust and close cultural exchanges, and continue to push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Pakistan.

Li Keqiang pointed out that China and Pakistan are the major emerging economies in the world and the largest developing countries in the East and the West.

Strengthening cooperation between the two sides is of great significance for promoting their respective development and improving people's livelihood, maintaining the overall development momentum of the emerging market countries and promoting the recovery of the world economy.

The two sides can sign a framework agreement on capacity investment and cooperation.

The principle of common development should be formulated, and plans for industrial investment cooperation between the two countries should be worked out to create an upgraded version of Sino Pakistani mutual beneficial cooperation.

Industrial investment cooperation in railway, mining, power, equipment manufacturing and other fields will be emphasized.

We should promote the substantive steps of the two oceans railway and other industries; develop industrial chain cooperation in clean energy, iron ore, agriculture and other fields; and strengthen cooperation in oil and gas exploration and mining, petrochemical equipment, ship trade and investment.

China supports Chinese enterprises to expand investment in Pakistan, share experience and technology, encourage financial institutions of both countries to carry out local currency settlement business, and provide assistance for deepening bilateral cooperation.

We will actively expand cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in science, technology, culture, education, tourism and youth.

Li Keqiang stressed that China is willing to work with Pakistan to push forward the comprehensive partnership between China and Latin America, and further strengthen strategic cooperation within the organizational and multilateral frameworks of the United Nations, the group of twenty, the BRICs and the "four basic countries", so as to jointly safeguard the solidarity and interests of developing countries and promote world peace, development and prosperity.

Li Keqiang visited Brazil as the first stop to visit Latin America.

Rousseff said that through the joint efforts of both sides, Bazhong relations have been greatly developed and promoted Latin American relations and cooperation.

Premier Li's visit marks an important moment for Bazhong's comprehensive strategic partnership.

Pakistan is willing to consolidate traditional friendship with the Chinese side, expand and deepen cooperation in infrastructure construction, finance, telecommunications, agriculture, energy, aviation and space, vigorously carry out capacity cooperation and jointly carry out research and cooperation in railway construction between the two oceans, and make Bazhong cooperation a model for emerging market countries.

We hope that the two sides will jointly sign the joint action plan of the Bazhong government to raise bilateral relations and cooperation to a new height.

Pakistan is willing to maintain close communication and coordination with the Chinese side on major international and regional issues and jointly safeguard the developing countries.

After the talks, Li Keqiang and Rousseff jointly signed the joint plan of action between the government of People's Republic of China and the Federative Republic of Brazil government from 2015 to 2021, and witnessed the signing of 35 cooperation documents in bilateral capacity, infrastructure construction, finance, aviation, agriculture, new energy, communications, technology and other fields.

The two sides issued a joint statement of the Chinese Pakistani government and a joint statement on climate change.
