CNBC Financial TV quoted sources as saying that Alibaba has identified Barclays as the designated market maker during the company's listing in the United States later this month.

According to foreign reports, Alibaba will meet investors in New York recently to open a roadshow lasting about two weeks. In the updated prospectus submitted to the Securities Regulatory Commission (SEC) in the early morning of September 6, Beijing time, Alibaba for the first time externally determined its pricing range to be $60 to $66 per share. It is estimated that Alibaba's valuation is between $154.2 billion and $169.8 billion. Yahoo will sell 4.9% of Alibaba's total share capital. Ma Yun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Cai Chongxin, Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors will sell some shares to protect the rights and interests of old shareholders.

On the basis of the original 27 partners, three more people have been added this time, namely Cai Jingxian from Alibaba Cloud's technical team, Ni Xingjun from the technical team of Microenterprise Financial Services Group, and Fang Yongxin from the human resources and organizational culture team.

Alibaba included a targeted share distribution plan in this IPO, reserving nearly 6% of its shares to allow its employees and people close to the company to subscribe at the issue price, which is the so-called "directed shares program". It is understood that this employee benefit was also used when Jingdong, Weibo and other Chinese concept stocks were listed.

In addition, the new prospectus published an open letter from Ma Yun to investors, which mentioned "ecosystem" 24 times.

The latest news says that Alibaba will finalize the IPO price on the 18th and the stock will be officially traded on the 19th, but this news has not been officially confirmed by Alibaba.

The prospectus shows that Alibaba will issue about 123 million new American Depositary Shares (ADSs) in this IPO, and Alibaba Group shareholders will sell 197 million shares in this IPO, of which Jack Ma will sell 12.75 million shares, accounting for about 0.5% of the total shares of Alibaba Group; Cai Chongxin will also sell 4.25 million shares.
