According to the introduction of P, the purpose of the research is to develop a new chrome free multi metal complex tanning agent to meet the requirements of ecological tanning agent and study its tanning properties.

The research is based on the application of iron zirconium aluminum complex tanning agent and its tanning system to goat shoe upper leather. The physical and mechanical properties, sensory properties and chemical properties of tanned leather are studied, compared with conventional chrome tanning leather, and compared with the industry standard of China's light industry on upper leather.

< p > analysis of the sensory properties of leather shows that the comprehensive score of iron zirconium aluminum tanning leather is slightly lower than that of conventional chrome tanned leather. The softness, fullness and particle properties of the 3 grades are slightly lower than those of conventional chrome tanned leather, but the elasticity of multi metal tanned leather is higher than that of conventional chrome tanned leather. Compared with the conventional chrome tanning leather, the comparison of the two kinds of process systems shows that the cost per unit area of the iron zirconium aluminum complex tanning system is significantly lower than the unit cost of chrome tanning system.
