The People'S Republic Of Bangladesh

As one of the economic pillars of Bangladesh, the clothing and clothing sector has developed in a positive way, despite the global financial recession.

Alam, the president of Bangladesh garment and garment manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), made a different prediction from the world bank.

The developing global recession will have another opportunity for Bangladesh's clothing and garment sector, and exports will not decline as the World Bank predicted.

At a news conference held in Dhaka a day ago, the World Bank predicted that Bangladesh's exports will fall by 4.3% in the current financial year.

The recession is both a risk and an opportunity for the garment industry in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh's low-end clothing is predicted to be less affected than high-end clothing.

The data available indicate that although the world is in a financial recession, Bangladesh's clothing and clothing exports will continue to rise.
