Because saliva will reduce the color fastness of textile products, the dye will fall with saliva into infants and young children's mouth, if the textile's saliva color fastness is not up to standard, will inevitably lead to children directly swallow the dye and be hurt, so in the new national standard, for baby textile examination, add saliva color fastness standard.

200 children and infant clothing products produced by 200 enterprises in 9 provinces and municipalities in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong and Guangdong were surveyed.

The results showed that 26 of the products did not meet the standards, including fiber composition and content, color fastness and other items.

A garment production industry employee said that the failure of the product was mainly due to fabric problems.

Why do some manufacturers choose unqualified fabrics?
