The Export Of Leather Industry In Thailand Continues To Increase Revenue To The State.

The deputy director of the international trade department, Su Wei pan, said that the export of leather products in Thailand continued to increase revenue for the country. The total export volume of leather products in 2012 should reach 1 billion 800 million US dollars, an increase of 2%.

The office is actively cooperating with Thailand.

The association has made great efforts to promote Thailand leather products to the international market, and has gone to foreign countries to find business opportunities and negotiate pactions. Especially after the European and American economies have been in a downturn, ASEAN member countries have become a promising export market.

The two sides will work together to promote the establishment of Thailand leather brand and invite famous experts from home and abroad to serve as advisers for the development and improvement of leather products.

Su Wei pointed out that the promotion of the international trade office to help and support the leather industry in Thailand more robust development, through the domestic organization of Bangkok international fashion show and Bangkok International Leather Exhibition (BIFF & BIL) to promote products, also organized leather industry representatives to China, Italy and other countries to participate in professional leather products exhibition.

In the near future, the "2012 Thailand leather products week" leather products exhibition will be held again to stimulate domestic consumption and upgrade the taste of Thailand leather products, and strive to occupy an important position in the international market of Thailand leather industry.

Thailand Leather Association, long Wah, revealed that Thailand's fashion leather products suffered huge losses in the devastating floods, and exports to the United States declined. Leather operators need to adjust their marketing strategies and invest more in developing new markets, because they relied too much on the US and EU countries.

From 1 to September, the total export of Thailand leather products, including travel products, leather goods and leather shoes, was reduced by 9.7% and the total export value was about $1 billion 300 million. However, it still believed that the export of leather products could maintain 2% growth this year. The export situation will be better because the last quarter of this year is the season of holiday gift sales.

The city will be held from November 23rd to December 2nd this year to promote the exhibition hall of the international trade hall. The leather products of various brands in Thailand will be on the stage. During the exhibition, 20 percent off promotions will be conducted. It is estimated that the number of visitors to the exhibition will be less than 50 thousand, and the 10 day sales will reach 30 million baht.
