To Strengthen Product Management And Product Safety, The New Regulations Of The American Apparel And Footwear Association Are Issued.
U.S.A Clothing footwear The Association (AAFA) has launched two new product tools as part of its continuous enhancement of the chemicals management and product safety toolbox.
The list of restricted substances, including proposal No. 65 of California, as a guide, will help companies comply with proposition sixty-fifth, the California Labelling Act, which requires the state to maintain a list of chemicals that cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. This publication details the lowest content of some fashion products and fashion accessories industry.
"International drawing requirements comparison chart" provides a global rope inspection requirements, definitions and regulations, which vary according to different markets.
"The new tools announced today by AAFA are part of a strong strategy that will make the world easier, more convenient and more efficient," said Kevin Burke, President and chief executive officer of AAFA.
AAFA promises to keep the industry ahead in understanding global rules, whether it is chemicals management or rope pulling rules. These global regulations affect industrial functions and help make decisions on global sales of products.
AAFA also released the latest Chinese version of the restricted substances list (RSL), including chemicals in products and other substances restricted by government regulations or laws.
The tenth release of the English version reflects changes made by REACH and other state and international regulations.
The published tools can be downloaded from the AAFA website, which will be released at the AAFA international product safety and environmental regulation conference in Shanghai, China, and the Long Beach Symposium and Exhibition on product safety and sustainable development in Long Beach.
