Retail Sales Of Clothing And Footwear Slipped From 1 To September In Austria

Federation of Austria Statistics Bureau (Bundesanstalt Statistik sterreich), according to the statistics released by the Federal Statistical Bureau of Austria in November 9th, the turnover of Austria retail industry (excluding auto sales) increased by 1.8% in September 2011 compared with the same month last year, but after deducting the inflation factor, the real value shrank by about 1.6%.


From 1 to September 2011, the retail sales volume decreased by about 1.2%. The trend of the past 3 months has been observed.
