EU Launches Anti Circumvention Investigation For Chinese Shoe Enterprises

According to Xinhua News Agency's 16.5% anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoe enterprises, the European Union recently launched an anti circumvention investigation into the situation of Chinese leather shoes "passing through" Macao's re exports to Europe, which is a severe test for our export shoe enterprises.

According to the provisions of the EU anti-dumping law, if China's exports to the EU's leather shoes are circumventing by Macao, the products will be subject to anti-dumping duties.

China Light Industry Arts and crafts import and Export Chamber recently issued a warning that anti circumvention investigations are no less damaging to enterprises than anti-dumping investigations.

In this regard, enterprises involved should actively prepare for responding.

The Ministry of Commerce encourages automobile enterprises to participate in the formulation of international standards. According to Xinhua news agency, in order to promote the internationalization process of China's automobile enterprises, the Ministry of Commerce will improve the construction of the public service system of the automobile industry, and encourage qualified automobile enterprises and intermediaries to actively participate in international standard setting and mutual recognition with foreign automobile product standards.

At the "2007 China Auto International Forum" held recently, Wang Qinhua, director of the Department of electrical and technology industries of the Ministry of Commerce, said that at present, the export of automobile products has increased rapidly, but the structure is not yet reasonable.

Wang Qinhua said that most of the exported automobile products are labor-intensive and resource-based products, and basically have not entered the global supporting system of pnational corporations. In order to support the pformation of the growth mode of China's automobile industry, the Ministry of Commerce will improve the public service system, build patent service organizations in the automotive industry, support the automobile industry to study the changes in the international automobile market, trade and technical regulations, and provide some changes to the international market and international automobile technology standards for China's auto export enterprises.

At the same time, we should form a set of reasonable and high quality testing and testing system that is suitable for the export inspection of automobile products in China.

The development of domestic banks' homogenization competition aggravated the differentiation of small and medium banks. According to Xinhua news agency, "the profit model of commercial banks in China basically depends on spreads, and now this homogenization competition is intensifying. Almost all joint-stock banks take retail business, small business operation, credit card, and financial management as the development goals of strategic pformation. Their customer positioning basically focuses on the middle and high end, the establishment of private banks, and the strengthening of competition for the middle business market. The specific products, business concepts, business methods and development strategies are basically similar, and the means of price competition still occupy an important position.
