The Japanese government plans to submit the plan in Parliament at the beginning of the year, and it will be formally implemented in April 1st.

Insiders say Japan is an important trading partner of Fujian.

For a long time, agricultural and aquatic products have been the largest and most representative traditional commodities exported to Japan, accounting for more than 35% of total exports to Japan.

In addition, Japan's domestic resources are poor, its population is small, its labor costs are high, and quite a number of consumer goods and primary products are no longer produced. It has formed a horizontal division of labor with the province, especially textile, clothing, shoes, umbrellas, furniture and other consumer goods, as well as stone products, chemical products, plastic products, wood products and other primary products. At present, Fujian's traditional exports to Japan account for about 30% of total exports to Japan.

In recent two years, even if Japan's market demand has been greatly reduced under the financial crisis, complementary commodities such as agricultural aquatic products and consumer goods are still relatively stable on exports to Japan, or even go against the trend.
