On July 28th -31, at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center, the 2010 Asia Outdoor Products Fair, which was expected to be held, opened its curtain and welcomed its 5th anniversary celebration.

The Asia Outdoor products exhibition is sponsored by the China Council for the promotion of international trade and the Nanjing Municipal People's government. The China Federation of Commerce, especially the Nanjing branch of the China Council for the promotion of trade, the German Friedrich J Hafen exhibition company and the Nanjing International Exhibition Center, undertook the exhibition.

2010 the Asia outdoor exhibition has used the five exhibition halls of the Nanjing International Exhibition Center for more than 30 thousand square meters to release the latest products and innovative technologies of the outdoor industry.


Monomer booth area expands, new brands come in.


The Asia Outdoor products exhibition is dedicated to the development of outdoor products industry, spreading the concept of "leisure, fashion, environmental protection, health and nature" and advocating "low carbon life and green life".

Over the past five years, the Asian outdoor show has grown with the industry and expanded with the business, confirming the rapid development of China's outdoor products market.

This year's Asia outdoor exhibition has broken through 30 thousand square meters, an increase of 20% over the same period in 2009, an increase of 50% compared with the first session in 2006, and 321 exhibitors at home and abroad, an increase of 11.5% over the same period in 2009, an increase of 84.4% over 2006, and 16 thousand professional visitors, an increase of 11.5% over 2009 and 137.3% growth over 2006.


In addition, this year's Asian outdoor show has a tendency to expand the number of monomer booths and new brands.

Entering the fast growing China market has stimulated many enterprises to devote themselves to outdoor activities.

Asian outdoors professionals are highly valued and highly respected by exhibitors. The belief of "outdoor and professional adherent" not only wins the sense of belonging of exhibitors, but also attracts more and more new brands to join.

The famous brands at home and abroad, such as Pathfinder, polar star, Nikon, and so on, made their first high-profile debut.

The Taiwan exhibition area also continues to take root in the Asian outdoor exhibition to build a direct communication bridge for trade across the Straits.

Of the 321 brands participating in the exhibition, there are 30 booths with more than 100 square meters, of which the largest area has reached 400 square meters, the most recent.


Over the past 5 years, the Asian outdoor exhibition has maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 15%, no matter from the scale of the exhibition, the number of exhibitors or the number of professional spectators. The Asian outdoor exhibition has reached the scale of the European outdoor exhibition for five years in three years. This has not only firmly stabilized its position in the largest and most professional outdoor products exhibition in Asia, but also formed a tripartite confrontation with the American Salt Lake City outdoor exhibition and the European outdoor exhibition.

The industrial design award promotes green and environmentally-friendly products.


This year is at the 5th anniversary anniversary of the Asian outdoor goods exhibition, in addition to the exhibition of an outdoor feast, its traditional cooperation activities also meet the new ideas and new features to meet the 5th anniversary commemorative.

The outdoor brand of Asia, especially China, has sprouted up and needs a stage to prove the pformation from "made in Asia" to "created in Asia". This award is officially launched to show that the design of Asian outdoor industry has become a new force in the world.

Among them, the green and environment-friendly design concept has been highly praised by experts, and the environmental protection award has been set up specially.


This year's first Asian outdoor industrial design award received 99 entries. A total of 21 entries came to the fore.

After two days' closed appraisal, 18 silver awards, 1 environmental protection prizes and 2 gold medals were produced.

In the future, the Asian outdoor exhibition will continue to expand the influence of the design award, promote the concept of green products and environmental protection, and contribute to environmental protection and industrial upgrading.


Many exhibitors also cooperated with each other in this exhibition to produce products with high technology content.

Take polar star company as an example, on the choice of outdoor clothing and fabrics, polar star company and functional fabrics developers have also taken full account of environmental protection requirements. The fabric used by its brand Shehe uses environmentally-friendly polyurethane resin and almost does not release toxic substances.
