Enterprises above Designated Size completed output of 431 million, an increase of 11.86% over the same period, of which 308 million were woven production, ranking seventh in the country.

The main business revenue was 40 billion 689 million yuan, an increase of 19% over the same period last year, with a total profit of 1 billion 825 million yuan, an increase of 35.19% over the previous year, a total profit of 2 billion 842 million yuan, an increase of 31.27% over the previous year, and an export delivery value of 17 billion 944 million yuan, an increase of 16.99% over the same period last year.

In the past, the clothing industry was only a small industry in the textile industry of Liaoning. It has now taken up half of the total, accounting for 56% of Liaoning's textile industry.

In 2009, the clothing industry actively responded to the economic crisis and faced challenges. The association has done a lot of work for this purpose.

In a timely manner, the two session of the president's office of the Liaoning clothing association was held. It profoundly interpreted the State Council's "textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan" and explored the direction and train of thought for the development of Liaoning's garment industry.

Together with the provincial Commission for economic and Trade Commission, a joint meeting on supply and demand of Liaoning's professional wear products was organized. A professional clothing Specialized Committee was set up to help professional production enterprises cope with the economic crisis and expand the market, and build a platform for product supply and demand docking.

Organize enterprises and designers to participate in various activities such as "2009 Hongkong Fashion Festival", CHIC exhibition, 09-10 spring summer China International Fashion Week, and 2009 Korean fashion and Textile Expo.

To strengthen brand building, a ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary and 2008 Annual Awards of Liaoning garment industry was held, and set an example in the clothing industry.

A fashion buyer contest will be held to strengthen the industry university research cooperation.

The work of the association has established firm confidence in guiding enterprises to overcome the unfavorable environment and deal with the economic crisis.

The meeting also invited Yang Guang, President of Beijing Yiwen enterprise group and President of Liaoning Professional Managers Association (president of Liaoning Economic Management College), to participate in the meeting, and made a keynote speech on "balanced wisdom" and "development and growth of business and professional managers" respectively.
