News Cooperation Agreement Between Xinhua News Agency And National News Agency Of Guinea Bissau

In order to strengthen the friendship between China and the people of Guinea Bissau and further develop the friendly cooperative relationship between Xinhua news agency and the national news agency of Guinea Bissau, the two sides have signed the following agreements on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
Article 1
The Xinhua news agency and the national news agency of Guinea Bissau agreed to exchange and broadcast the international and domestic news.
When using the other party's news, we should respect the original intention and do not change the original text when directly quoted.
Second article
The Xinhua news agency and the national news agency of Guinea Bissau agreed to exchange news photos on a regular basis by air mail whenever possible.
Both parties should respect the original intent of the picture when using the other party's picture.
Third article
The news and pictures provided by both parties are free and have no patent rights.
Fourth article
The Xinhua news agency and the national news agency of Guinea Bissau will try their best to give their counterparts to assist journalists in the possible scope.
Fifth article
After signing this agreement, it will come into force for a period of one year and remain valid by default.
If a party requests to abolish this agreement, it shall notify the other party in writing three months ago.
The agreement was signed in Bissau in two copies in January 13, 1978. It is equally authentic in two languages, both in Chinese and Portuguese.
Xinhua News Agency represents the representative of the national news agency of Guinea Bissau.
