Guangdong Yangjiang 70% garment enterprises resume normal production, and 30% enterprises are working hard to get out of the predicament. It is expected that the garment industry will become the first market that can recover after the financial crisis.

According to China News Service reported on March 30th, affected by the global financial crisis, from the second half of the year to the 09 year of the Spring Festival in 08, OEM and Yangjiang garment processing enterprises in Guangdong mainly encountered difficulties in order reduction and underemployment. In addition to the large number of orders, the small and medium-sized garment enterprises were mostly in a state of opening and closing.

From the relevant parties in Yangjiang, Guangdong, it is learned that the Guangdong Yangjiang clothing and footwear industry association encourages and guides the pure processing enterprises to extend the industrial chain, aiming at the trend of clothing market to develop new products, organizing business teams to expand sales channels within and outside the province, and expand the domestic market, and so on, so as to promote enterprises to catch up with the cold and welcome the spring.

According to the preliminary statistics of the chamber of Commerce, up to now, 7 of the more than 400 garment enterprises in the city have basically resumed normal production, and 30% enterprises are working hard to get out of the predicament.

It is reported that despite the impact of the global financial crisis, the garment manufacturing industry in Yangjiang of Guangdong basically failed to see factory failures. In February 09, 4 garment enterprises were also added.

People in the chamber of Commerce believe that there will be warm spring in the clothing industry after the cold winter.

Although the global economy is at a low ebb, the 1 billion 300 million domestic population of China has made a huge hinterland for the domestic garment market.

Coupled with the central 4 trillion investment to stimulate consumption, the consumer demand for clothing in the domestic market will continue to grow in the next stage. The apparel industry will become the first market that can recover after the financial crisis.

According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, the export tax rebate rate for textiles and garments has been raised to 16% since April 1st.

The improvement of the export rebate rate is the embodiment of the improvement of the textile and apparel industry.

This shows that garment manufacturers will soon usher in a new round of development opportunities.
