Europe And The United States Market Weakness, Vietnam Footwear Industry Production More Than Half
According to Vietnam investment newspaper March 20th, many shoemaking enterprises reflected that because of the weak market in Europe and America, Vietnamese shoe manufacturers could not get the production orders in the coming months.
Many shoe manufacturers in Pingyang, Hu Zhiming and Haiphong, Vietnam, have only enough orders to maintain their production in April, but the importers are unwilling to sign orders after May.
Moreover, enterprises are unable to produce production at full capacity, and capacity has dropped by 40-50% compared with the same period last year.
