Putian City Shoes Machinery Exhibition Will Be Held
In August 22nd, the municipal government held the third Putian international footwear technology equipment shoe materials exhibition coordination meeting.
会议强调，各县区各部门要高度重视鞋机鞋材展，指定专门单位负责落实招展工作；要进一步加大宣传力度，努力营造氛围；各级各部门要从大局出发，密切配合，精心组织，确保展会成功举办。
据悉，我市现有制鞋企业３０００多家，生产各类运动鞋、皮鞋、休闲鞋、胶鞋等，２００７年产值达１８０亿元，今年上半年实现产值１０７亿元，是我市十大产业集群之一，莆田已快速发展成为福建乃至全国又一大型制鞋基地。
The third Putian international shoe technology equipment shoe materials exhibition will be held in from November 16 to 19, 2008 in the arts and Crafts City. It will be organised by the Putian Municipal People's government and the provincial council for the promotion of trade and will set up 500 booths.
