The Giant Statue Of Yao Ming, Built By Reebok Co, Is Located In Wangfujing, Beijing.

A Yao Ming, 12 meters tall, have you seen it? Yesterday, the huge statue of Yao Ming, built by Reebok Co, was officially completed at Lisheng sports mall in Wangfujing, Beijing.
The Yao Ming, which has been magnified nearly 6 times, is fixed on the outer wall of the southeast side of Lisheng sports hall 33 meters high. It was originally a statue of an unknown basketball player of similar size. In order to inspire the Olympic Games, the statue that had been hung for 8 years was replaced by "Yao Ming".
According to Cheng Bo, the designer of the statue, it took 10 months to build the 12 meter high Yao Ming, which invested nearly 500 thousand yuan, and launched a 12.5 metre long huge cart to pport the statue from the Lugou Bridge factory to Wangfujing at night. After the statue was installed, it soon attracted many passers-by and became a landscape.
