In February, India exported 81543 tons of cotton yarn, down 0.84% month on month and 10.46% year on year. In the first seven months of this year, India exported 610800 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 5%. China surpassed Bangladesh as the largest consumer of Indian yarn this year, accounting for 25.78%; Bangladesh followed closely, accounting for about 22%.
