WAL-MART Evacuated Fengcheng Hengfeng Times Square Shop Closed In May 14Th

In May 7th, a Fengcheng WAL-MART people's Road store posted a notice that the store would be closed in May 14th.

The reason for closing shop is not explained by WAL-MART.

It is understood that WAL-MART Fengcheng people's Road branch is located in Hengfeng Times Square, opened in December 23, 2010, and its business area is about 11000 square meters. The main business is fresh food, clothing, household appliances and so on. There are nearly 20 thousand kinds of commodities.

It is reported that the shop is the first shopping mall opened by WAL-MART in downtown Fengcheng, and the eighth branch it opened in Jiangxi.

The Hengfeng Times Square, which is stationed at Fengcheng WAL-MART store, is the first urban complex in Fengcheng. It occupies the commercial core area of the old city - Renmin Road and Jianshe Road intersection. With its superior geographical location, WAL-MART still had a fire at the beginning of its opening.

According to media analysis, with the gradual shift of the urban commercial focus of Fengcheng, and the change of the old urban area, the Aboriginal people have moved to the new urban area. The demand for WAL-MART's consumption has been gradually removed, and the business of the store has gone from bad to worse.

At the end of December 2018, Fengcheng's Hsin Ying man Fan City, which was about five kilometers away from Hengfeng Times Square, was officially unveiled. The passenger flow of Hengfeng Times Square was further carved up, which is to crush WAL-MART's "Zui straw."

It is worth noting that the Fengcheng store is not the first store that WAL-MART closed in Jiangxi this year.

In March 26th, WAL-MART Nanchang liberation West Road store (located in Qingyun impression Hui) was closed due to the expiration of the lease contract. This is the first time WAL-MART has closed shop in Nanchang.

From 2016 to 2018, although WAL-MART closed more than ten stores in China every year, Jiangxi was not within the scope of the adjustment.

However, in 2019, Jiangxi seemed to be one of the "worst hit areas" of WAL-MART's closure. In less than two months, two big stores were closed down.
