Exclusive Jurisdiction Over Dispute Cases Involving Salvage Expenses

Maritime disputes, maritime disputes, and other maritime disputes which are related to ships or pportation, production and operations, and other maritime disputes stipulated by laws or related judicial interpretations shall be exclusively under the jurisdiction of the maritime courts and the people's courts at higher levels.

1) two or more maritime courts have jurisdiction over litigation, and the plaintiff may bring a suit in one of the maritime courts. The plaintiff's prosecution of two or more maritime courts with jurisdiction shall be under the jurisdiction of the first maritime court.


2) between the maritime courts, or between the maritime courts and the local people's courts, the disputes between the maritime courts and the local people's courts shall be resolved through consultation between the two sides of the dispute; if the dispute can not be resolved through consultation, the Supreme People's court shall be designated for jurisdiction.
